Here are a couple of shots of the first printed playbook for City of Myst!
It’s just a test, of course, so there are already a few things that I know I’ll change, but you can see the main features of the game system such as Mythos & Logos, Themes, Tags, and (kind of) Status Spectrums, as well as some more cool artwork and color text for the character, Fire Salamander.
The plan right now is to release seven ready-made character playbooks with the core moves as an Alpha version, where each playbook is a specific character rather than an archetype. Character creation in the final game will be virtually limitless and will be based on a different kind of playbooks called Themebooks, but that’s for later on.
I’m very excited about this and hope I can share the Alpha very soon. Would love to hear your thoughts on this!
